My wife and I just got back from a business trip in Hawaii Saturday morning. The trip took about 15 hours with stops and we had already been up for 7 hours prior to the flight in HI. We couldn’t sleep due to all the turbulence on the LA to Orlando leg so by the time we landed, we’d been up almost 24 hours. I asked my wife Corinne, where do you want to go? She answered “Seriously?” Island Root of course. It’s sort of a tradition for us to stop there when traveling back from business trips. SOO Glad we did. Got a couple of Kratom sangrias and was good to go the rest of the day. We love this place. Great drinks and atmosphere.

Great kava and kratom and the service is amazing. Not great in the food but your close to downtown were there is great food they have tables outside and inside and they do allow you to eat there. I highly recommend it.

Very very rude customers showed up for the four times and some girl just blew smoke in my face at the bar! Too many people smoking in and around the place. Nasty so I had to leave without finishing the food

Didn't have any food just drinks quite nice and relaxing I have my favorite server out of all them so I prefer Saturday nights when he is working not sure if he works any other nights but Saturday is the best for me

Island Root is Kava Culture. Downtown is your home away from home. Every culture graces these spaces with ease. Family and small pet friendly, I haven't seen a farm animal inside yet... Catch the Vibe, Ride the Waves in Life. It's a True Oasis in the Desert of the Real.

Guy said my id was fake and then wiped gunk off the table with it. Very unprofessional and very rude. Don’t come here unless you’re a narc like the workers. Terrible environment.
